Fair Food Week – Slow Soup Kitchen at Southside Farmers Market

The Slow Food Canberra Convivium celebrated fair food week by having a slow soup kitchen at the Southside Farmers Market on 25 October.

Thank you to everyone who came along and tried our soups made from local Market produce. Soups produced at the SSK included Indian style lentil, spicy Moroccan lamb & chickpea, creamy cauliflower, and potato and leek soups. In tune with fair food week, patrons paid what they thought was a fair price for the soup.  The recipes for the soups we made can be found here:  SS Slow Soup Kitchen Handout 25 October 2015
